EVIDENCE — THE RECORD

We won't show you a logo wall. We'll show you the record.

Lucid was founded in 2026, so the firm's log is short and we're not going to pad it. Here is what is on the record today, what predates the firm, and what the work leaves behind.

ON THE RECORD / 01
ENGAGEMENTS — 04
ENGAGEMENT / STRING TING LIVE
String Ting
A London accessories brand, founded 2020, selling direct in over 200 countries. Lucid runs the technology and the operating model behind it — storefront, data layer, analytics, and the internal consoles the team runs the business from.

ENGAGEMENT / LADN. LIVE
LADN.
LADN. came to us with a cargo documentation platform already running in production, a relaunch was required to meet market interest for a modern cargo documentation platform. Leigh ran it from the seat: the opportunity and competitive assessment, the naming sprint and the mark that came out of it, the positioning and messaging, the tone of voice, the pricing approach, the website, and the sales plan underneath all of it. He also built the discipline the rest depends on — a single facts and claims register where every number and claim is graded, and nothing ships externally until it is verified. One operator, working directly with the founders, taking the decisions in the room with them.

ENGAGEMENT / SEDNA LIVE
Sedna
A maritime software vendor whose product works and whose customers need it live. This is the forward deployed engagement in full: an operator in the seat deciding what the software should be, a Lucid pod building it, and a product left behind.

ENGAGEMENT / AQUILA BUILDING
Aquila
A plan-approval and quality platform for shipowners running newbuild programmes, more than a decade in production. The product is theirs. Ours is the commercial layer around it: the rebrand, the position, the pricing model and the go-to-market that carries them. We'll publish the detail when it ships, not before.

VENTURES — 02
VENTURE / REEL BUILDING
Reel
A shared inbox is where the commercial day arrives — the fixture, the claim, the notice with a clock already running on it. In front of it sits a filter nobody on the desk can see into, deciding which of those they are allowed to read. Nobody reviews it. Nobody is told. When it gets one wrong, the first sign is the argument that follows. Reel opens it up. Held mail is visible and can be pulled back by the people it was addressed to. Bad mail that got through is reportable by whoever spotted it. A sender can be shut out for good, with a name and a date against the decision. One rule does not move: only the filter's own verdict or a named person can hide a message. Nothing disappears because a model was confident.

VENTURE / UNDISCLOSED BUILDING
Undisclosed
A second product, in build, not yet named. It came from the same place the first one did — a workflow we watched break repeatedly from inside an engagement, which turned out to be a product rather than a fix. We'll put it on the record when it ships, like everything else here.

CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS Other live engagements stay confidential while they run. References are available on request, and we name them here once they close.

BEFORE THE FIRM / 02

The longest part of the record predates Lucid.

The firm is new. The operating experience behind it is not. Product and engineering organisations built and run, platforms taken from first commit to scale, leadership teams held together through the stages where models usually break. That work sits under previous employers' names, so we talk about it in the room rather than printing it here.

WHAT YOU KEEP / 03

Every engagement leaves artefacts.

This is the evidence you can hold after we go. Judge us on whether these exist and get used.

ARTEFACT / 01 — OPERATING REVIEW
A written assessment of how the company actually runs, with the constraint named and a plan against it.
ARTEFACT / 02 — DECISION LOG
What was decided, by whom, on what evidence. The document that stops the same argument recurring quarterly.
ARTEFACT / 03 — DELIVERY CADENCE
The weekly and quarterly rhythm, written down and in use — not a ritual your team performs for us.
ARTEFACT / 04 — ARCHITECTURE POSITION
Where the platform is, what it makes possible next, and the calls we'd defend to a board or a buyer.
ARTEFACT / 05 — WORKING SOFTWARE
Shipped, running, and handed over with the people who own it named.

Want the record in detail, with references? Ask us directly.

LIVE
Running now.
BUILDING
In development, ours or a client's. Published when it ships.
CLOSED
Finished — what changed, what didn't, and why.

Three statuses, one log. Work enters it when it's real and stays in it when it fails. That is the whole editorial policy.

START

Forty-five minutes. Bring the constraint.

Tell us where the model is bending. We'll say what we'd do, and whether we're the right people to do it.
